Blend: Combine all ingredients until they are smooth and uniform.
Cream:Beat just enough to make mixture smooth, light and fluffy.
Cut In: Mixing a solid fat with dry ingredients by chopping with two knives or pastry blender.
Dredge: Coat with flour or sugar.
Dust: Sprinkle lightly.
Fold: Combine lightly using two motions, a downward cut through mixture then sliding across bottom and up by the side, to turn mix over.
Toss: Tumble ingredients using a light lifting motion.
Whip: Beat mixture rapidly to add air.
