Lockerz

Right now Lockerz is one of the hottest paying sites. You get points by answering questions, watching videos and logging in that you can redeem for Pay Pal Cash or high dollar items either through the Redemptions days where the competition is heavy or through the SHOP section where you can purchase prizes and then lower the price and/or get free shipping by using your accumulated points. Either way you will need to have a Paypal account to collect on your winnings.

Lockerz is a site where you earn points for logging in daily, answering a daily question and watching videos and trade them in for some high dollar items.

You can double all your points for a year by getting 20 people to sign up under you, Send an email to Jewel at 90210 Treasures to request an invite.

Now lets talk about points.

You accumulate points by your activities, most will come  from watching videos, and you can multi task while the videos run in the background. You have to go back now and then to enter the capchas at the end of each video to get your points and they are getting ready to add 2 more ways to get points, one I have heard is games which will be fun. The videos run different amounts of time I have seen some 30 second ones and some as long as 39 minutes.

The best way IMHO to accumulate points is to sign in daily to get your log in points and answer the daily question which is found under a check mark on the lower tool bar. Once or twice a month Lockerz will run a double points day, right now they are running triple. Log in on those days and watch as many videos as you can to get points faster. If you are just beginning and use IE8 hover your mouse over the videos and it will tell you how long the video is. I started on the last page and worked my way forward doing all the videos under three minutes first, then under 5, under 10 and so on until I had seen all of them, right now I have almost 10,000 points banked.

What to do with all those points?

Lockers has two ways to redeem your points. Once or twice a month they hold Redemptions. This month they had a special SHOP Redemption where if you bought anything form SHOP (purple button at the top tool bar) for 79 cents or more you got into this special redemption. My purchase of the cooler got me access to this redemption. They are also going to have a Retro Redemption between now and the 10th that features prizes of various amounts of Pay Pal Cash (up to $1000), IPods, IPads, Net books, PCs, etc.

If you are a member of Face book, add Lockerz to your like list. Lockers will announce when the redemptions are going on on face book, in the hallway (homepage), and send out e mails. However - the redemptions go really fast and its only by a stroke of luck you get in and get something from the redemptions.

People tend to gather here while waiting on the redemptions and be forewarned they do get nasty as their impatience, insecurities and just poor sportsmanship begins to show. It actually gets funny after a while if you can see it for what it is but if you are one who stresses I recommend you stay off the face book page and don't get caught up in it.

Also a word of caution about the Face book page, people will post misleading information trying to get others disqualified before the redemptions begin, i.e., they will say to hit refresh a lot, this will get you banned for an undetermined amount of time if you refresh more than 5 times in a minute. They will claim to know the day and time which is also a lie, Lockerz will give clues but no one knows exactly when it will happen.

They will post links to special sites or tool bars that if you download and try to use them will get you banned, so don't believe anything like this and don't let them 'sell' you their Lockerz Account from EBay - it will only pay the original owner.

The only thing you can legally use with Lockerz is Roboform and it does come in handy if you plan on doing the redemptions.

If you aren't one who takes the heavy competition well use your points in SHOP. The Shop section has lots and lots of nice things like Nintendo, PSP and WII, plus games galore to go with them. The hottest Fashion Accessories, Sports Equipment, DVDs and other high dollar items you can save your points for and get without going through the stress of the Redemption. They have weekly boutiques and things change often so if you are planning to get the yourself, your spouse, kids or grandkids a really nice gift, check out the offers in SHOP.

The great thing about SHOP is that you can use as many or as few of your points to lower the price of the item you want, plus if you throw in an extra 150 points you get free shipping too.

Well, thats all I can think of to tell you. BTW I wracked up over 350 points while I wrote this article.
